The Loudon World War II Letters

Captain John Ralph Loudon M.D. was stationed in the 116th Field Hospital in the Pacific during World War II. Over 1,000 letters, photographs and other documents have been saved from his time served. These are samples from those archives. New posts will be made frequently. This will be in chronologic order so you can follow along. John (Jack) Loudon Sherrick

My son Jack Sherrick is going to be a senior at Springfield High School in Illinois. He needed a job for summer break so he is helping scan his great grandparents WWII letters. Hopefully now I will be able to make more frequent posts.
